Fall colors.... more than just leaves

Fall colors in Oklahoma are found in more places than leaves the fall from the trees to the ground. Nothing beats a cool Fall Oklahoma sunset. I actually sat my butt down in the middle of a county road near my parents house to get all the clouds in the shots. I really wish there wasn't so many power/telephone lines hanging everywhere but I am pretty partial to having electricity, sure makes life easier.

I'm shooting more portrait photography now. I'm still shooting action and event photography with Snap Shot Moms. We have a Face Book Fan Page, if you haven't already found it.
I've started a website for Kristy Troyer Photography and a Face Book Fan Page.

Please share these links with your family and friends.

The leaves will be peaking in Northeast Oklahoma in the next few weeks. I have openings for a few weekends between now and Thanksgiving. This is a perfect time for Christmas Card portraits! You can email me to schedule your appointment!

Outhouse Races & Fireman's Muster

 In the County I live in there is Chouteau, Oklahoma and Salina, Oklahoma. Salina, Oklahoma was founded by Jean Pierre Chouteau as a trading post next to the Grand Neosho River. Because of this fact, Chouteau Day is held annually in Salina, Oklahoma. This year's festivities included Outhouse Races and a Fireman's Muster among other things. I missed the Outhouse Races because I was running a 5K elsewhere.

The Outhouses were in the parade and I'm guessing they got points for creativity too.

It was hot and my son was getting restless so we left before the hose wrangling :(

I had a chance to photograph Austin S a few weeks ago. Austin just turned one and is already a busy little boy! He was a cutie and fun to photograph.

Wilson Family/Maternity Portraits {Mayes County Famiy Photographer}

I've known the Wilson family for many years. Their daughter is adorable and will be an awesome big sister. Another girl will grace the family this month. The best of luck and may God continue to bless this family!

Goff Family {Northeast Oklahoma Family Photographer}

I'm attempting to develop and catch up with blogging for Kristy Troyer Photography
This is the Goff Family. They were great to work with a month or so ago. T is 18 months and despite not quite feeling himself we got some great images.

Troyer's are married! {Northeast Oklahoma Wedding Photographer}

I had the pleasure of photographing a cousins wedding. They are a wonderful couple and their lives will center around Christ which will make their relationship that much stronger. They are obviously in love and their happiness showed through the entire affair. They were married outdoors at a historic site in the area. It was gorgeous even if a little warm!

A Cherokee Courthouse is being restored on the property and the original well house which is fed by a naturally spring fed creek has already been restored.
Good Luck in your marriage, Kyle and Ashley!
